June 2nd Ballot Guide
Our ballot guide is here! Voter turnout is usually well under 50% in primary races, and sometimes much lower for school board. We hope to change that, so we put together this guide based on candidate positions, experience, and relationships. We researched using LAist’s Voter Game Plan, CalMatters, checking candidates’ sites and connections, and by watching who shows up where (and not just when it’s election time). We tune into City Council and GUSD Board meetings regularly. We see who gives public comment, and what they say.
So…remember to sign and date your return envelope and drop your ballot in a secure dropbox before 8pm on June 2nd. For more info, visit lavote.gov.
